Iron Age III Pottery Bull with Bridle, ca. 800-586 BCE. Pottery figures of animals were very common in this region from the 4th millennium BCE and onwards, but especially during the Iron Age. Stylized bull has a bridle and a bit. Incised eyes and long tail curving towards one leg. Horns repaired, but otherwise in excellent shape and appealingly crafted. 6" in height. Found in the Holy Land.
