| Whimsical dog with bulbous eyes, perked ears, protruding muzzle and toothy smile with attached grayware whistling vessel. Footed bottom with cylindrical shaft, twin opposing lugs near upper rim. Black and cream pigment. Chip to vases inner rim and base and left ear of dog. Intact and in excellent condition. Circa 800 - 1200 C.E., 10 3/8" high. | |||||
