Frontal Profile of Anthropoid Wooden Egyptian Ka Funerary Mask, Late Dynastic Period / Ptolemaic Periods, circa 6th-1st Century B.C.E. Modeled after deceased for recognition and placed on sarcophagus to allow the deceased to roam freely in the afterlife. Serene face with soft arching brows and thick upper lids. Straight nose sharply modeled along the bridge and pursed fleshy lips. Tall headdress framing the head. 12" high, In excellent condition with crafted void.
