Costa Rican Jaguar Vessel, Nicoya region, ca. 1000 CE - 1400 CE. Feline with open mouth, bared fangs and pointed ears supported by tripod of two legs and tail. Legs with wooden ball for rattle effect. Outstretched hands placed on the knees. Silhouette jaguars covering limbs and bib, tapering spout encircled with bank of stylized birds. Original paint in black, reddish brown and cream. Head professionally reattached from original piece, otherwise in excellent condition. 14" high.

Tang dynasty Sancai Glazed Bactrian Camel (618 - 907 C.E.) T.L. Test from Oxford Authentication Ltd. Standing foursquare with head raised and mouth open exposing small teeth. Body predominantly amber glazed with some cream on eyes and muzzle. Saddle with detailed mask in sancai glaze. Some earthen encrustation and glazing wear due to age, but in excellent condition. 20" high x 16" nose to tail x 7 1/2" wide.
