Early Tang Pale Celadon Glazed Amphora, tapered body with two double strapped dragon handles resting on shoulder, with heads feeding into rim. Crackle glaze of pale celadon tone, falling irregularly to center to expose white stoneware body. An amphora of this type was popular in Northern China in the Tang Dynasty and was often included in tombs. Ca. 618-907 C.E. In excellent condition. Height 13 1/2".
