T.L Tested for Authenticity: Very large Han dynasty Cold Painted Pottery Cocoon Jar, China (206 BCE - 220 CE) Full ovid body raised on a ridged spreading pedestal foot. Deeply incised bands with geometric patterns and pigments of red, green, cream and brown. Short neck encircled by string bands before flaring toward everted rim. Intact with wonderful earthen encrustation. 17" high x 18" long x 13" wide. In excellent condition.

Amber Glazed Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368) Utilitarian Jar. Tan and brown splashed glaze falling irregularly to the lower rim to expose the original terracotta. Shoulder decorated with four stylized Food Dog handles molded in high relief. Sides of mouths open for the insertion of loose ring handles. Short neck with everted rim. Piece is in excellent condition 9" high.

Large painted Pottery Model of a Lion, Tang Dynasty (618-907 C.E.) Seated on its haunches with a teeth-baring expression on face. Covered with white slip and traces of pigment remaining. Bulbous eyes carved in deep relief. Teeth and fangs are defined as is tongue. Wide nostrils, mane in cascading detail on the back with tail curled around lower body. Nails on both paws clearly defined. This is a wonderful, intact piece, large (16 2/8 in.) and expressive features. In excellent condition.
