Blue / White porcelain Guan Jar with Phoenix design is forerunner of the Ginger Jar. Originally used for wine and pickled liquids they had no covers but used wood tops that were waxed closed. Circa 1750 C.E., 6 3/4" high
Qing dynasty Blue / White Porcelain Ginger Jar, China circa 1880. Decorated with flora and climbing vines. Geometric band encircling lidded mouth. Intact with some small chips on lid from use and age. 9 1/2" high. In very good condition.
Two Qing dynasty Blue / White Porcelain Melon Vases, China circa 1860s. Not a matching pair but from the same source. Decorated with design of butterflies, flora and fauna. Some wear due to age and use, but in very good condition. 13" tall and other is 12 1/2" tall.
