Miniature Roman bronze figure of a bound Barbarian. Bearded figure with long hair seated and leaning forward. A rope tied around his neck, hands continuing down to his feet which are also bound. Pierced below and through the side for attachment. Cf. no. 105 in Merhav, et. al., A glimpse into the Past, The Joseph Ternbach collection. In excellent condition, 2nd Century CE. 1 3/4" high.

Magnificent and Large Roman bronze figurine of Cupid, mounted on custom base. Beautifully molded figure with shoulder-attached wings, garland in his hair and outstretched arms. Left arm holds a wreath of flowers and right hand raises a cup. Total height 9 1/2 inches with custom base. Left leg is missing below the knee. Otherwise in excellent condition with beautiful patina. Roman 1st-3rd century CE.
One in the form of a roundel, with frontal facing head of Medusa in relief, intricate facial features and incised wavy hair, 2 1/8", the other styled as the head of a roaring lion with thick mane and open mouth forming a spout, two suspension loops located at the top, 2 3/8", both in excellent condition, circa 1st - 2nd Century C.E.
Two Roman Broze Actor's Mask Protome, circa 2nd - 3rd Century CE. One wearing the winged headdress of Mercury, inlaid eyes, long stands of hair with open mouth Retail $3,800. The other similarly rendered but missing the inlaid eyes and winged headdress $3,500, both in excellent condition, 4" on custom lucite stands.
The muscular bearded hero depicted nude, standing with right leg relaxed and bent at the knee. His right arm lowered, the lion skin draped over his left forearm. An attribute in his fisted left hand. Circa 1st - 3rd Century. Bronze 3" high and height on custom lucite stand is 5 1/2". In excellent condition.
Roman Bronze of muscular Orpheus, son of Apollo, inventor of the Lyre and chief poet and musician of antiquity, depicted nude and seated in wilderness he charms wild beasts including a turtle, goat, two serpents, salamander, and snail. Circa 1st - 3rd Century C.E. Bronze is 3 3/4" high and on custom lucite stand height is 5 3/4". Loss to both arms but in excellent condition.
