Middle Bronze Age II-B Amphora with original Ladle calcified into mouth of vessel, circa 1750 - 1550 BCE, Age of the Patriarchs (Abraham, Issac, Jacob) Purchased in Israel in 1980s. Globular in form with funnel-shaped mouth, a horned handle on either side. Intact and heavily encrusted with earthen deposits, in great condition. 21 1/2" high.
