The vessel is furnished with a braided handle at the top and has two mouths one of which served to fill and the other to empty the container. It is possible that this container was used for beer because one spout has a strainer at the top. The piece retains much of its original paint design with lines, waves, and meanders. 13 1/2" high. Small chip to rim of non-strainer mouth, otherwise in excellent condition.
