Body adorned with dashed lines and wearing many earrings. Feet are very large and with pointed toes. Overall reddish buff with white accents. Professional repair to feet, arms from original pieces. Figure holds rattle in left hand and playing flute with right. Eyes lowered in a trance and ears pierced for ornaments. Painted overall in tan and black. Intact and in excellent condition. 16" high.

Stylized figure of pale green diorite stone with wide geometric grin, concave back, curly tail and miniature legs. Most likely used for crushing hallucinogenic substances. A robust prisoner sitting cross-legged gazing resolutely forward. Wearing a flaring head ornament molded with a tentacled octopus motif. Hands of captive are bound behind back. Pigment of reddish brown and cream. Circa 200 - 500 C.E. Some wear due to age but intact and in good condition. 11 1/2" high.
