From Rio de Magdalena. Cylindrical body with a stylized turtle projecting on the front, arms out-streatched, four lug handles encircling the shoulder. Surmounted by a domed lid with a seated female figure on top with slender arms and hands outspread on the knees, the face with ears and septum pierced for ornaments. Circa 1200 - 1450 C.E. In excellent condition, 23 1/2" high.
Two Bamyan Ceramic Bowls (Ancient Afghanistan circa 12th - 13th Century CE $950 EACH, and One Bamyan Ceramic Saucer $600. Bamyan is famous for the ancient Buddhas that stood for almost two millennia until dynamited by the Taliban in 2001. All approximately 6" diameter, some wear and chips due to age but in good condition.

Modeled after deceased for recognition and placed on sarcophagus to allow the deceased to roam freely in the afterlife. Serene face with soft arching brows and thick upper lids. Straight nose sharply modeled along the bridge and pursed fleshy lips. Tall headdress framing the head. 12" high, In excellent condition with crafted void.

Greek Attic Black Figure Kylix with Boar, Late 6th / Early 5th Century BCE. Shallow vessel with twin handles.
