Byzantine / Early Christian Glass Decorated Jug, ca. 6th - 7th Century CE. Ex: Gershon Bineth collection, Israel. Mould blown with square body, cylindrical neck, funnel shaped rim and single handle. Sides are decorated as follows: (a) shrine with triangular gable and hanging lamp. (b) vertical tabula ansata with net pattern. (c) Shrine with triangular gable and hanging lamp. (d) Net pattern. See impressions in Enlargement two. 5.629" high and in very good condition.
